Description

The Mount Vernon Police Department and Mount Vernon Parks and Recreation are hosting the annual National Night Out at Edgewater Park on August 6, 2024 and they have invited Skagit County Search and Rescue to join in the fun. This is an community outreach and education opportunity with lots of displays and equipment demonstrations from local first responders. This year's event will have multiple stations with games and prizes for kids along with interactive stations for booths and food trucks. There will be activities for kids and families including a disc golf course, archery course, rc car track, and a mural painting station,. A punch card with all of the different booths will be offered to kids and at the end of the night there will be an exciting raffle giveaway.

If your unit is interested in setting up a station, response rig and/or boat at this event, please sign up here or contact the Volunteer Coordinator, Lindsey, for more information. Deadline for signing up is July 1, 2024.
