Join the Anacortes Police Department and a wide variety of our community partners as we celebrate first responders and community partners of all kinds! Stop by for a free hot dog, enjoy the on-stage program and visit with many local organizations who help us keep the community safe.
If you are interested in setting up an info booth and demonstration on behalf of your Emergency Worker volunteer unit, please sign up! This is a great outreach and education opportunity that gets a lot of face-to-face time with the community. Let them know what you do as a volunteer, teach them a little bit about safety and preparedness, and you might even get a new recruit out of the exchange! The Anacortes Police Department is hoping to make it the biggest one yet, with a specific focus on vehicles and equipment for kids and families to explore and learn about.
Those interested will need to provide their own table, chairs, pop-up tent (if desired), along with all outreach and educational materials. If you are interested, sign up here and the Volunteer Programs Coordinator will follow up with an event application provided by Anacortes Police Department.
