Skagit DEM is seeking 1-2 volunteers to share general Emergency Preparedness information and outreach materials at the upcoming PACCAR Open House in west Mount Vernon, alongside a DEM staff member.
This event is well attended and open to the general public. Expect high foot traffic, lots of people asking general questions, and LOTS of interaction with children who want to play our virtual firefighting game. Half an hour is added to each end of the event to assist the DEM staffer with setup/takedown. Public event hours are 11am-3pm, volunteer hours will be 10:30am-3:30pm.
