Community outreach opportunity for all SAR units!
Touch A Truck offers participants hands-on experience climbing, exploring and interacting with trucks, emergency response vehicles, heavy machinery and other vehicles in a safe environment. Kids and parents alike love to see your vehicles from afar and will be jumping at the opportunity to see them up close. Come enjoy being the coolest drivers and operators in town for a few hours. Feel free to hand out flyers, educational materials or little trinkets on the day of the event to share your services with the community.
This event is open to the public 11am-2pm. Quiet hours are 11-12pm, then after that, let those sirens and horns wail!
You are encouraged to bring a canopy, table and chairs to the event for your set-up.
