The Skagit Transfer Station is looking for volunteers to assist with checking in folks at the Skagit Transfer Station. 

On-the-spot training will be provided, and an information sheet will be provided at the start of the shift.

Volunteer: Animal Distribution Point Volunteer

Purpose: Support the operation of the Animal Feed Distribution Point by assisting community members who are delivering or picking up animal feed.

Volunteer Duties: Volunteers will greet members of the public, ask a few basic questions to understand their needs, and direct them to the appropriate area or supply "pile". Additional tasks may include lifting, organizing supplies, and general on-site assistance as needed. 

What to Expect: 

Mostly outdoor work with access to a heated officeVolunteers should be comfortable standing, greeting people, and providing basic directions

We are hoping to assign a volunteer to lead to help oversee daily operations.
